{"id":4914,"date":"2026-01-20T00:07:05","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T00:07:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.consolatahospitalikonda.org\/en\/?p=4914"},"modified":"2026-04-29T03:07:43","modified_gmt":"2026-04-29T03:07:43","slug":"new-jepa-limmat-scholarships-awarded-to-ikonda-doctors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.consolatahospitalikonda.org\/en\/2026\/01\/20\/new-jepa-limmat-scholarships-awarded-to-ikonda-doctors\/","title":{"rendered":"New Jepa-Limmat Scholarships Awarded to Ikonda Doctors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">Since 2022, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jepafoundation.org\/current-activities.htm\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-pink-color\">Jepa-Limmat Foundation<\/mark><\/a> and Consolata Hospital Ikonda have been working together to bring life-changing surgical care to children in rural areas with limited access to healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"section-g-h0fsxls\" class=\"wp-block-gutentor-e6 section-g-h0fsxls gutentor-element gutentor-element-image\"><div class=\"gutentor-element-image-box\"><div class=\"gutentor-image-thumb\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.consolatahospitalikonda.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2026-01-19-at-5.01.35-PM-1.png\"\/><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2 wp-block-paragraph\">ciao<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">In 2024, <strong>Dr. Boniphace Kamushaga Tresphory,<\/strong> General Surgeon at our hospital, was awarded a full scholarship to pursue a three-year Master\u2019s degree in Pediatric Surgery at Muhimbili National Hospital, an accredited training center and key partner of the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:17px\">In 2025, the Foundation extended its support by awarding two additional three-year scholarships to <strong>Dr. Ndunguru Goodluck Zenobius<\/strong> (Surgery) and <strong>Dr. Masaba Geofrey Cosmas<\/strong> (Internal Medicine), both currently interns at Consolata Hospital Ikonda.
