We are pleased to announce that, thanks to the collaboration with the Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (SEPAR), a group of doctors and nurses specialized in Pulmonary Diseases and Respiratory Rehabilitation recently visited Ikonda Hospital to offer training support to local medical staff, following a series of online lectures.
The group was led by Dr. Juan Pablo Reig Mezquida from the University of Valencia (Spain) and included Drs. María Dolores Martínez Pitarch, Alberto Alonso Fernández, and María Andion García Barrecheguren.
Their work focused on diagnostic and therapeutic approaches to managing pulmonary diseases and on modern respiratory rehabilitation techniques, with particular attention to real clinical cases relevant to the Tanzanian context.
