Since 2022, Jepa-Limmat Foundation and Consolata Hospital Ikonda have been working together to bring life-changing surgical care to children in rural areas with limited access to healthcare.

In 2024, Dr. Boniphace Kamushaga Tresphory, General Surgeon at our hospital, was awarded a full scholarship to pursue a three-year Master’s degree in Pediatric Surgery at Muhimbili National Hospital, an accredited training center and key partner of the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa (COSECSA).
In 2025, the Foundation extended its support by awarding two additional three-year scholarships to Dr. Ndunguru Goodluck Zenobius (Surgery) and Dr. Masaba Geofrey Cosmas (Internal Medicine), both currently interns at Consolata Hospital Ikonda. We are deeply grateful for this ongoing collaboration, which continues to invest in Tanzania’s future medical specialists.
