Thanks to the initiative of a group of volunteers from Turin, Dr. Kenneth Kuwaja, cardiology resident at Consolata Hospital Ikonda, had the opportunity to further develop his clinical experience at the Cardiology Department of the San Luigi University Hospital in Orbassano (Turin). Under the guidance of Dr. Alessandra Chinaglia, Kenneth spent a month working across wards, intensive care, and outpatient clinics, gaining new skills and strengthening a structured approach to cardiac patient care.
This experience is part of a broader training program launched in 2024 by a group of cardiologists from Turin, aimed at increasing the autonomy of local doctors in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
